About the Role
As the Communication Officer of the Coding Club, I was responsible for keeping members informed, engaged, and connected through clear and consistent communication. I managed internal updates and announcements, making sure that everyone stayed in the loop about upcoming meetings, coding sessions, and club activities.
My role involved coordinating with the rest of the team to ensure smooth information flow and timely reminders. I helped draft and send out messages across our communication channels, shared updates from the club leadership, and made sure key details reached members without confusion.
While I didn’t handle social media or design, I focused on clarity, structure, and reliability in our internal communications. Through this experience, I improved my coordination, organization, and team collaboration skills — all while contributing to the smooth functioning of a student-led tech community.
